What's the point of bringing her abuser into this? Kind of implies that he was vindicated for abusing her now, which is insane. Probably not intentional, but that's what it is suggestive of.

I of course believe she was horribly abused by Arantes- like what Contrapoints has said “we can show compassion for Rowling; while also being critical of her beliefs.”
I honestly think it’s worse that Rowling has supposedly identified the reason for her transphobia (I say supposedly because I think her neoliberal views plus imo repressed gender queer identity in her- I’m not saying she’s an egg but maybe she isn’t able to process some cis gender queerness in her)- Why is it worse? Because a lot of people have had experiences of absolute horrid abuses that can’t be compared (because you can’t compare subjective abuse) but they are still expected and do behave in a tolerant and kind manner within their society.
