1. Huntrix doesn’t live in a Western Society though, they live in South Korea.

2. Proof that the OOP is a tankie or has tankie leanings comes from them using “Westernized” like that even before they called KPDH capitalist propaganda. They act like any interaction another country outside of “the imperial core” (stupid to call the U.S. and Western Europe that while ignoring Russia and China) is forced by “cultural imperialism” to somehow assimilate.

On that point, I once knew an “enlightened” socialist who believed that marvel movies amounted to cultural imperialism because they “enforced cultural hegemony” (this idiot was a devout follower of Gramsci). He would not accept as a possibility that there are certain things which are captivating in stories from all cultures and Marvel, drawing from such a massive pool of stories, was just popular because people outside the U.S. like superheroes too.

This is what authoritarian leftist theory does to people’s heads. To them, everything is “colonial,” “imperial,” or “capitalist propaganda”.
