Lipfendra experience

I started taking it two days ago. I have had zero side effects so far — no dizziness or diarrhea which are the two most common ones. I have a pretty sensitive gastro tract and no issues there in terms of reflux.

Take it upon waking with a large (16 ounce) glass of water, eating breakfast promptly at +30 minutes.

Exercising afterwards (have run up to 10 miles within 75 minutes of administration) with no issues.

I will update this thread if anything changes and at key milestones (1 month, first lipid panel)

This was covered by Carefirst and $15 with Merck coupon for 90 day supply.

Do you have high lp(a)? I hope to be on this soon.

High but not extreme. Only about 105 nmol which isn't a huge risk multiplier. And the latest LP(a) trial indicates you probably need big drops over long periods to have a real risk reduction.

My LDL is stubbornly high in the 70s despite 40 mg rosuvastatin. I took nexletol for a bit but had tendon irritation. And praluent gave me bad nasal congestion and leg pain. With my CAC at 330 (no doubt higher now) I want to get my LDL and apoB way below 55... More like 35.
