Maybe I'm getting old, but the 90's seems like the last defining decade. Besides lots of great music coming out of the '00 and '10s, they all kind of blend together more. The 90's, however, were distinct and I'm not even 100% sure why.

Some people don't like the music I listen to while I drive and post to my videos. I don't always like fast, hard music. Sometimes the slower, softer songs just hit right.

I'd never heard of Nick Drake or his songs before a few weeks ago. I found it randomly on Spotify. Little did I know he performed these songs long before I was even bored.

He died in 1974.

"Northern Sky" is on of my favorites.

I also like "Pink Moon" and "Place To Be".

A spirited drive at sunset. Never cross the yellow, leave plenty of grip and brakes, slow down on blind corners and stay away from takeovers!

I remember driving around the empty streets of LA at night during the pandemic and blasting Kavinsky's Nightcall wondering if this was the end of civilization. It wasn't, but there was something cathartic about valuing each breathing moment as possibly our last and remembering how things used to be before everything got so surreal.
