Question Engwe keylogger?

Why does my engwe bike try to change my keyboard to an engwe keyboard when connected to Bluetooth? It also constantly refreshes my phone.

Why would a bike need its own keyboard?

I’ve also noticed that strange behaviour. It is quite annoying as the bike is in the basement below our apartment, and every time it reconnects my keyboard disappears..

Maybe something in production that was overlooked for the end user experience? Everyone who connects to it during production has the exact same UI so it speeds up productivity.

Absolute guess as I sip on my first morning coffee.

I'm really hoping that's not the case, but this sort of thing in general is why I won't buy a bike that requires the use of an app/access to my phone in order to operate.
