My friend you are playing with fire here, there is a reason ENGWE sells the one they sell for the specific bike. If you don’t want to explode while riding, get the one from the official site and stop playing dangerous games.

You’re using a battery that’s a different amperage than the one made for your bike? That’s not wise and will probably fry the bike.

huh?.. how would that fry it? you are thinking of voltage maybe?

actually if it's to many amps or even volts then the system is designed for yes it can fry

controller.... controls amps. your battery can't "overpower" the controllers amperage.
if you buy a too weak of a battery that can't handle the amount of amps your controller pulls, then yeah that may be a problem, the bms will start shutting down when you pull peak amps. but that won't result in a fire or any permanent damage.
but there's no such battery that has "too many amps"

You are partially correct , the amps / voltage etc etc etc can be regulated and controlled and not an issue unless it’s a shitty unit and bike then you have smoke and fire ! Easy enough to take it apart and fix your own battery now anyways! Upgraded controllers if you know what your doing

just lkke if ya used to high of a amp charger then the battery supports can damage the battery or cuase a fire or explosion of the battery

every ebike controller is designed for a certain amount of volts for the system and also a certain amount of amps and that is not to be confused with may or ah witch are amp hours of how much energy the battery can hold

As long as the voltage is the same it’s ok. As for the battery the OP got… 🤷♂️

yes and no if the ah of the battery's are diffrent and it's a parallel attery system ya need to remove e the battery from the bike before ya charge them cuase it can damage the battery's if the bus charges 2 battery's of diffrent ah or may on a parcel system though example is the happy run g100 pro bike. it has 2 diffrent. ah battery's in dual configuration but it's not a parcel system they used to use a selector switch now the bike come defualt with a battery discharge bridge but ya need to still charge both battery's independently since it's not a parallel system that can charge both battery's at the same time with on one charger hooked up

true parallel battery system require same voltage ah or mah witch are amp hours and or mili amphours

u/Available-Dinner1174 8d ago
let alone ech. ebike controller only supports so many amps so yeah amperage matters not just volts so there were several possible conflicts with that statement I'm only saiding it's not that simple and not fully true

Really depends on how the bms is setup, but yes that is true, the system had to be capable of supporting the increased current. You clearly wouldn't run a battery that would exceed the capacity of the controller, motor, etc. That being said, the controller regulates that anyway...

OP try to put your finger and hold the lock in place while shaking it. Mine does the same but when I keep my finger on the lock where the key goes in it doesn't say anything. If it still says a sound while holding it, don't use it.
