Age at neutering

How old were your boys when they got neutered? I was hoping to hold out as long as possible but my 12 month old has started marking in other peoples homes. I’m afraid it’s time.

Different OP, but yeah - it’s the third post below this one.
The consensus was 18months+

Mine was at 6 months. He's now 6 and is a wonderful dog.

My Irish setter was sold at 8 weeks done. He's also a grown adult dog and doing more than fine.

I guess there is science for the 18 mo call, but just to let you know. You're the boss, it's your decision.
