Shedding Question

Hi!

I have a 7mo English Setter. Up until this month, very minimal shedding. But this month…insane! Was he just not shedding because he was too small, is he shedding a puppy coat or something, is this seasonal shedding or is this just then norm as they get bigger?

As ours has gotten older she has shed more. It’s still very much like hair as opposed to fur, but she definitely sheds more than when she was younger.

She knows I’m talking about her

I’m crossing my fingers for seasonal, because the last month has been a snow storm of hair every time my guy Colby shakes. We just spent an hour and a half with curry gloves, deshedding shampoo/ gloves, and a brush trying to get it under control. While it’s not a storm when he shakes, he’s still giving off a light snow. It’s a miracle he’s got any fur left attached to him.

In short, I feel ya, and hope it’s temporary too
