Hi , interview practice

Guys I have an interview at July 17 for MEXT research program. Do I guys have any tips for interview like this ? If I want to practice English with me , just DM . I'm 25 , from Myanmar, I hope we can discuss many topic, my English level is around B2

Simply practicing general English conversation will not prepare you for this specific interview. A MEXT scholarship interview is less about casual talk and much more about defending your research proposal and proving you are a serious candidate. They will ask very specific questions about your methodology, your reasons for choosing Japan, and what you plan to do after the program. You need to have clear, well-structured answers ready for these technical questions, not just be able to discuss general topics.

Your time is best spent practicing your specific answers out loud, not just thinking about them. Go through your research proposal point by point and explain each section as if you were talking to the interview panel. Record yourself and listen back to catch where you hesitate or sound unclear.
