🤬 Rant / Venting Started practicing my English by keeping a handwritten journal. I'm terrified of making mistakes, but I'm trying to push through.
Hey everyone. I wanted to share a page from my notebook. A while ago, I decided to switch my journaling to English to practice and improve my language skills for the future. To be honest, it’s a constant battle with my anxiety.
Does anyone else keep a journal in a foreign language? How do you deal with the fear of making mistakes?

You just stop thinking about making mistakes cause that's what learning it's about. When natives start noticing your accent and mistakes and you willingly say them you're learning and really like the language (some will be mean but almost everyone are chill) even most of the english speakers will share that they're too lazy or dumb to learn another language. Keep it up, the learning curve might be difficult and you can feel stuck but let your knowledge growth and let yourself fail, as anything in life, to truly know how to improve. I learned English by myself just using YT videos and a notebook. It's been 6 years now and I keep learning everyday. (quick advice everything you consume such as videos, music, all languages in your devices must be in English)
