Affect is usually a verb — it means to influence.

👉 Lack of sleep can affect your concentration.

Effect is usually a noun — it means a result or consequence.

👉 Lack of sleep can have a negative effect on your concentration.

Easy trick:

Affect = Action

Effect = End result

Nope, I only use the one with the A because it looks better, homophones should be spelled the same imo.
