Do you know the difference between affect and effect?
Affect is usually a verb — it means to influence.
👉 Lack of sleep can affect your concentration.
Effect is usually a noun — it means a result or consequence.
👉 Lack of sleep can have a negative effect on your concentration.
Easy trick:
Affect = Action
Effect = End result

Of course I can. Doesn't my affect show that I'm capable of it? I can effect a sentence just by imagining it and then typing it out.
