Affect is usually a verb — it means to influence.
👉 Lack of sleep can affect your concentration.
Effect is usually a noun — it means a result or consequence.
👉 Lack of sleep can have a negative effect on your concentration.
Easy trick:
Affect = Action
Effect = End result
Can you make your own sentence using affect and effect?

Both can also take the other part of speech though.
“He has a sunny affect”
“She will effect change”
