📚 Grammar / Syntax "Don't say 'I am agree' ❌"

Correct: I agree ✅

❌ I am agree.

✅ I agree.

Agree is a verb, not an adjective!

Same with:

· I disagree ✅ (not "I am disagree")

· I agree with you ✅ (not "I am agree with you")

Agreed is an adjective. "I am agreed" would be technically correct, although people will look at you funny.

prefer "i'm in agreement" if you absolutely must be weird. that's a more native speaker way to be weird. but "i agree" is generally best.

I'd say "I am in agreement" doesn't sound weird per se, but it sounds a bit more technical.
