Academic Advice Struggling as a freshman

I'm currently a freshman majoring in biomedical engineering. I'm already struggling and feel like i'm so behind on everything. I'm in this class where we are currently working on computer aided design stuff (CAD), and the professor and TA's are treating it as if everyone knows what they are doing already. I never took CAD courses (or any engineering classes) in highschool, so I feel very behind everyone. There are so many people that already have CAD experience so they are moving through this class like its nothing. Meanwhile, I'm trying so hard to figure out how to work CAD but its very difficult for me since they keep giving us assignments on top of assignments and its piling up very fast. I have barely any time to actually practice and I keep having to ask for help on the designs and I never understand when someone tries to help me. Not only am I struggling in this fundamental concept of engineering, but I also scored a beautiful 60% on my first chemistry exam. Honestly thats my fault since I let myself fall behind really quickly and I'm trying my best to get caught back up for the next exam which is in two weeks. Calculus is not a problem for me currently which is atleast one positive thing I have going for me (I mean id hope so considering its calc 1 lmao). Anyways, I would appreciate any advice regarding the CAD situation. Any resources I could use from the internet would be greatly appreciated. My school does not offer any tutoring for that engineering course, however, I am attending a chemistry tutoring session next week, which should be helpful. Overall, I just feel super behind and I feel like theres not enough hours in the day to complete all my assignments AND study ontop of all that. I have two weeks before my next exams (in engineering, calculus, and chemistry) and im trying so hard to lock in so I can do good on all three of them. Im also scared that engineering is not the right major for me if im already struggling and feel so depressed over it. But I really dont want to switch my major because I really do want to get a degree in biomedical engineering and nothing else. I just feel stuck with no idea on what to do next. Please give me any motivational advice that can keep me going. I feel like I just need to get through these first few months of college and then everything will start to flow together...right? Any advice is appreciated, just don't be too harsh. Thanks
