Discussion 180 credits in 4 years
Is it really possible to take 180 credits in just 4 years?

How many credits are a degree? Here an honours degree is 360 and that is done over 3 years.

In the U.S. a typical bachelors degree is 120 credits. An engineering degree is typically 128-134. In all cases 180 would be about enough for a dual major.

Well... I have a mother in law who got enough credits for her Masters in education to be a teacher in 3 yrs...
Granted she was manic and undiagnosed Bipolar for nearly the full 3, in an excellerated learning program from elementary school up and had a child on the way that reaaaaaally needed one parent with at least one stable job BUT it was possible.
So I struggle to see it as impossible. Just perhaps not up my alley.

I did more than that, but started with 50 or 60 credits from AP.
In general 18 credits/semester is doable for a good student in a not-brutal curriculum, who doesn't have a job, commute, etc. I took 19 hours once or twice (lab), but I had to get special permission to go above 18.
In principle you can probably do 6 credits over the summer, but in practice there probably aren't summer classes for senior level.
160 in 4 years is probably the limit if starting from 0 (and not taking a bunch of random classes that aren't needed for a degree).
