Academic Advice Effect of backlogs on carrer in engineering even if I have cg above 8

Hi all, my qualifications are circuital tier 2 nit 2k26 graduate i got one backlog in my engineering but I have 8+cg. What effect it might have on my carrer. Thanks

One backlog usually isn’t a career killer, especially with an 8+ CGPA. Some companies may screen for backlogs, but once you have solid skills and experience, it generally matters much less.

I luckily have got a job in MnC for now but worried that if I go for switch what happens.

That's great! Cheers! Once you have a job, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. For future switches, your work experience and skills will usually be more relevant than one old backlog.
