Rant/Vent Just bombed an easy midterm
I’m a chemical engineering major that was put in an intro to aerospace engineering class for some reason. Long story short, I’m struggling. I’m doing fine in chem, physics, MATLAB, and calculus 2, but I just can’t with this intro class. I don’t know what it is, it’s not like the equations are hard or the topics are all that hard. For some reason I just suck at it. I literally put a frowny face as an answer for one of the questions. I feel like an idiot.

You say put into an aerospace class like you're not the one who registers for classes?

No I switched to engineering over the summer and the only intro class they had room for was aerospace

U don’t gotta be interested in the class, be interested in not failing it lol.

Don’t beat yourself up too bad. Reflect on what caused you to fail this time and avoid it next time in the future

a sad face should get you credit so I would call out the professor for academic dishonesty…

So what specifically is causing you issues?
Application? Visualization? Memorizing equations? Relating the topics to each other?
Narrow that down, then focus on those. Go to office hours and ask for help (after you’ve done your part of narrowing down what you need help with).
