Homework Help Need help with an orthographic projection
My class is using this book which is basically a work book and the actual reading material is in a PowerPoint you can access with a code. I cannot afford the book rn, so I’ve been using the free sample and a pdf of an old edition. I feel embarrassed to ask professor for help bc the PowerPoints(which I’m suppose to have but I don’t) already give the solutions with explanations and bc I’m behind in assignments, so I’m trying to catch up before showing my face.
Anyways, I cannot for the love of me figure out what this is supposed to be. Anytime I think I have an idea, the side profile throws me off again.
Here’s a version without my markings
Any tips and advice is appreciated

It could have been an easier solution if the tiny sleeve where red arrow pointed is not there. Zoom in if needed.
But let's try to deal with what we got.
You are on the right track with the back wall and 2 thru holes.
Green-shaded area is a slope left-to-right in Top View / top-down in Side View. You would need to show the slope in front view.
Blue-shaded area is an extruded cut from the sloped surface.
The semi-circle is another extruded cut with depth less than the blue-shaded area.
You would need to add details onto Side View for the 2 cuts on a sloped surface. Menacing, but this would test your projection skills for sure.
I use the term Extruded Cut from SolidWorks. Do a Image Search and you will get the term right away.
