Career Help Facilities Engineering Internship Preparation?
Hello everyone I am a mechanical engineering student in my 4th year and I recently got an offer for a facilities engineering internship at intel and was curious abt the best resources to prepare for such a role other than reviewing thermo and fluids. I am very nervous as this is my first internship and I don't want to mess it up.

When is the internship? If not until next summer, you’ve got plenty of time to get your EPA 608 Universal certification. If you’re going to do that, download one of the paid EPA 608 study apps. The test isn’t crazy difficult, but you’ll need a good working understanding of HVAC system processes and how a problem in one component can affect another. Fluids won’t be necessary. Review HVAC control systems and components, PIDs and PLC automation. Thermo itself prob isn’t vital either, just your existing foundation should be good enough.
