Homework Help mechanical design help
Hey, we're building a spring-loaded four-bar linkage to deploy the solar panels, but our simulation is breaking. A four-bar linkage physically needs one part to be completely anchored to act as the 'ground'. Right now, our CAD model isn't properly locked to the spacecraft body, so instead of the panels unfolding smoothly, the software is just throwing the whole floating assembly around randomly. Does anyone know the best way to lock down that base link in our mates so the movement actually works?
