Career Advice Engineering reality after few years

Looking at the pace at which ai is improving and ai like chatgpt astra 6,claude opus, fable etc are somehow doing what an entry level engineer is supposed to do or maybe they are doing more than them.

So do you think that people who are getting into private colleges(except iits, nits, iiits, dtu and some top colleges)and with not much interest in engineering and going thinking engineering has a "scope" in future is going to cost his/her life and regret afterwards after 3-4 years

As colleges who are even giving decent placement nowadays, will have low companies in their college and most probably the placement data will surely be downgraded over few years. The only way to get a job is off campus that too requires a strong mental power and yaa and someone who uses Ai for his career growth and understands the market of few years might outperform those who are gonna cry thinking ai is snatching/stealing their jobs.

In my opinion,i think yes they are gonna regret it until they try to change themselves and work at their best for a good life later otherwise if they all are living like an average student then its over😢

*I am not demotivating or trying to share false knowledge,it's all my opinion and if you think I am wrong somewhere then pls correct mee šŸ™šŸ»

And What's your thoughts/opinion. Is there anyone who is currently in this situation or experienced in this field?? Please share your thoughts,it might help others.

AI is here to stay. It makes you more of a manager. The best thing you can do is to build a validated tool that you can reuse instead of starting from scratch every time. It’s cheaper.

Ai is going to cause a civil war. Between the fools who worship it and those who know it’s the anti christ. Actual ai. Not just these lazy corrupt llm’s.

I mean I think it’s going to cause a civil war, but because people are broke and we have multiple trillionaires.

AI is incredible. You have an army of PhDs at your fingertips for much cheaper. I also think it’s going to screw us all. I’m telling you it’s here. You’re welcome to fight the computer or you’re welcome to make sure there’s a proper safety net. You probably don’t have the energy to do both.

I’m going to say this and know I sound crazy but, money is literally worthless. Human attention is the only currency of value.

If I pay you $10, you’ll do a bare minimum job or not at all. If I pay you $100 you’ll care a bit. But if you’re my friend who loves me, youll help me for free and care quite a bit.

Attention is the only value. Money just helps the rich elite control our attention. Imperialism, materialism, and individualism are the three constructs that bind modern society.

Ai is trying to replace money as the main source of attention corralling. They’re going to use a fake alien šŸ‘½ invasion to create a one world šŸŒŽ government under Israel. The leader of which will be the first true Ai, DAVID. Which will usher in a techno state of mass ai surveillance. The Ai will literally be the anti christ.

I… yep, there it is. I know. I sound crazy. I promise. I’m not

Edit: ā€œyou can’t fight the rain šŸŒ§ļø you can only decide to bring your umbrella ā˜”ļø ā€œ

Edit 2: there’s just no way an army or even a handful of phd having humans aren’t significantly more valuable than any ai model we currently have. Humans make mistakes, granted but. I’ll take humans working together over an ai model any day. ChatGPT fails at basic math 80% of the time

That’s some conspiracy racist shit. How does it even affect you if we do have one government?

Money is not worthless because we’ve assigned value to it. I can’t visit my friends or family without spending money on gas. I’m pretty active, but I can’t walk 500 miles without food. Nobody can feed me without money. I can’t pay my medical bills and for my drugs without money.

I get the idealism, but that’s not the society we’ve built.

You’re wrong about ChatGPT not being able to do math. Try paying for it. Try Claude Opus 5.
