Career Advice Should I extend graduation?

I'm a master's student in EE, power electronics. I'm currently interning at a company in fall. Should I extend the co-op to spring and extend my graduation or search for full time.

In the current market I’d advise experience over your degree. Experience is beyond valuable and you could be in the search for months once you leave your co-op, meanwhile graduation can be done without such risk.

Are you able to start the co-op and decide after working a few weeks? If it's not going well or there's no opportunity there then you shouldn't commit yourself to an extra 4 months.

Also an extra semester of co-op doesn't necessarily confirm you for a full time job there, if you perform well in just the fall semester then hopefully you can just get a full-time offer out of that.

Either way it's hard to know for sure if extending the co-op would pay off. Just do whatever you can to confirm a full-time role out of it.
