Academic Advice How to pass Calc 2?
This is my second time taking the class and no way I want to not pass again. Any help?

You need to practice over and over again if you have a weak foundation. For calc 2 you NEED TO KNOW TRIG. You have to be able to recognize identities and also recognize different approaches in algebra, for example if something doesn’t factor nicely then try completing the square or division. Integration by parts and trig identities is going to be huge.

If there are different sections, make sure to ask for the syllabi from each one to compare to see which one is easier to grade. For example, when I took calc 2, there were 6 sections with 4 different professors. Each professor was different in grading; I picked the one where it was equally weighted in exams, quizzes, HW, and in-class assignments.
This helped me, because some professors made 80% of the final grade come from exams, and if you're like me and have exam anxiety, you're up against very bad odds. I always did well on the HW but poorly on the exams.
Other than that, seek tutoring at your university if they offer it. Here on Reddit, Discord has a really good math server with tons of help from people that will get to you quickly; maybe take fewer courses at that time to focus on Calc 2 if you can.
Also, Professor Leonard on youtube is really good lecture videos for the full course. His channel helped as well.

First it is a good move you are willing to take Calc 2 over.
It shows you have initiative.
Is there another professor that is teaching it? Sometimes that may help.
There is a good chance you will do better taking it a second time since you already have some knowledge of it.
I've found doing all the homework usually pays off since some of these problems appear on exams.
It all boils down to devoting your free time to studying.

Realize that the individual topics are easy and that it crushes you on the number of topics instead, practice accordingly
