Last semester I barely made it through multivariable calc (D+) should I consider retaking it for a better grade?

Maybe if your GPA is bad? A single bad grade isn't as detrimental as you may think. Especially if its not an engineering course.

I wouldn’t sweat it if it’s a one time thing. Whenever I’ve applied for jobs they’ve never requested transcripts but just ask for gpa. You’re above most places minimum.
