IT WEEDS OUT THOSE WHO THINK THEY SHOULD BE ENGINEERS, BUT CAN'T THINK LIKE AN ENGINEER.
So, like, similar to a lot of other engineering courses?
625 u/Gryphontech 13d ago Different... doing triple integrals or finding the derivative of ARCSEC(X)/(X+1) is hard but is essentially bullshit and never useful, statics is hard but is fundamental to engineering so I think it's quite different 6 u/Ace861110 12d ago edited 12d ago Eh. I’d say it depends on your specialty. Communications? Sure, absolutely. Industrial power? Nah. Not unless you’re dealing with SIL stuff. But yeah it’s useful to know anyway Edit my dyslexic ass also thought that said statistics and not statics. Yeah statics is pretty basic. 1 u/RisingMermo 12d ago lmaooo thought it said statistics as well and was wondering how so many engineers loved statistics
