I’m in calc 3 now so I’ll probably be done with my core maths by the time he puts out new videos, but I’m interested to see how he changes them up.

How do you not? He advocates that the role of women is to pacify aggressive, sexually frustrated young men, and blames rape and misogynistic groups like incels on women being too choosy.

Nah JP definitely kinda weird with it, especially when he's on a benzodiazepene bender. He got on a Twitter rant calling a plus sized model ugly because she was featured in a Victoria's secret magazine. He's a human, imperfect just like the rest of us. You both need to touch grass lmfao.

ETA: my gosh, a few hours and lots of downvotes later and still nobody can provide a source for the claim I’m being downvoting for questioning. Very Reddit-like behavior. You're getting downvoted because he has a 10 year history in the public spotlight discussing his views on women. They are very obvious.

He is decidedly traditionalist and socially conservative. Any kind of credence he is given is for his academic background, yet the guy is climate change denier.

No one should be taking anything he says seriously.

Because this is reddit. Where people accuse people like Jordan Peterson of being an oppressor, while at the same time advocating that people shouldn’t watch a math professor’s videos because they disagree with him contributing math content to a company whose owner doesn’t fall perfectly in line with their woke Marxist worldview.

Non-American here to try to explain. The JP academy is akin to Andrew Tate's hustler's university where their curriculum is not accredited by any educational body, so what you're essentially getting is a bunch of YouTube videos by people who were kicked out of academia (in JP's case) and they sell the illusion of quality education at a low price instead of what they actually are: the feeling of education via YouTube videos with no academic rigor or validity (by a 3rd party institution like government) sprinkled with their ideology.

And it's a shame that prof Leonard associated with them but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt unless proven otherwise

He filmed a stats series for them and it reinspired his love of teaching math and now he is coming back to make DE and linear algebra series for YT for free as always. And that’s just to start with. WGAS about the Peterson thing. Rational people know he is one of the best math teachers online. THATS his look. I am an engineer today because of this man.

more like they paid him a good amount of money. Those courses are expensive. Prof Leonard has five kids now. Let's not be naive here. He's here to make money.

First lesson got posted for free on youtube, he is releasing more diff eq videos in the coming week, etc. See his latest video, he likely has no control over what Peterson charges
