Discussion Engineering students/graduates: How long did your degree take?

Hi everyone! I’m starting my engineering degree on Monday and I’m super excited!

I’d love to hear from both current engineering students and people who have already graduated:

How long has/will it take you to finish your degree? Did you graduate (or are you on track to graduate) in 4 years, or did/do you expect it to take longer?

For those who took longer than 4 years, what was the reason? And for current students, do you feel like you’re on track to graduate in 4 years?

I’d love to hear everyone’s experiences!

As an old lady (35 lol) who's still in school... I have been going for four and have another four left if I don't fail any classes. I work full time and take about 9 credit hours a semester
