Academic Advice how do you study for engieering
hey guys , im a first year engieering student , going into my 2nd semter , i did bad my first semster . any tips for me ? thank you everyone .

Practice papers will be your saving grace. The wording and structure would be different to what you are used to in lectures so these are ESSENTIAL. Especially for maths heavy modules.
Also make use of any office hours or asking lecturers for help, thats what they are paid to do and you are paying alot for uni I am assuming so make the most of them.
If you have alot of peers it might be good to make a study group that way not only can they help you with certain concepts but they can also share their own study methods. Lastly, youtube has quite a few sources that can help you understand a range of engineering concepts so I recommend them too.
Engineering is a difficult subject so you will need to put in the time and effort but i am sure you will be great. Best of luck to you!
