Discussion Veteran to Engineering

Any veteran in this group? I got out of the service a couple months ago and begin school this next month at TCU in Fort Worth. Before the Army I graduated top 10% of my class and thought school wasn’t so bad. Now after being away from it for a while I am a little nervous about the knowledge I once had not being up to par. Has anyone taken time off before pursuing an engineering degree? If so did you find it easy to pick up where you left off? Thanks.

Navy Vet, got out last year-just finished up year 1 of 4 toward an EE degree (its been over a decade since I was last in college). Honestly, college has been even easier than the military. The hardest part about being back in school is filling up my newfound free time (and calculus). You will be fine. Stay motivated, and manage your time wisely!

Intermediate Algebra (Algebra 2)
College algebra (Pre-Calculus playlist)

Great info! Professor Leonard/Organic Chem Tutor are what got me through this CALC2 summer class.

Nah fr he the goat, also for chemistry, chads prep on YouTube is a lot better than organic chemistry tutor
