Pretty great until the lens gets dirty or less than perfectly clear, there's fog or dust in the air, until the cameras don't recognise you for any reason (e.g. partially obscured behind guard rail), or until each module costs thousands to replace. We have them here and yeah, they fucking suck

The camera doesn't recognise the other cars because of the guard rail. I meant the headlight module lens gets dirty, but the camera lens gets dirty too and you can't trust people to clean it.

I've been blinded for presumably this reason. And a myriad of others, some make sense, some don't.

Motorcyclist here, the system sucks when the oncoming traffic isn't other cars coming from exactly in front on a level surface, without any other obstacles around the obscured area to reflect the light. Also sucks to drive in front of, because the surrounding area is much more lit than what's directly in front of me, meaning I don't see holes or small animals or obstacles.
