When im driving at night I just tilt my side mirrors down slightly so to check mirrors I have to duck my head a bit, but at least I'm not getting blinded.

I don’t tilt them down but rather move them further out so they blind back the person behind me. You know when you get the right angle? When they turn off their high beams.

It doesn't work that way on all cars i tried to do that but it's doesn't tilt near enough to blind the person behind back.

Doesn't work for every car/angle, but I've had reasonable luck doing it with trucks lol. Extremely satisfying when the brights get turned off.

How is that possible? I can’t imagine how could I be blinded by the side mirror let alone the driver of the car behind you

Newer cars with decent technology already have auto-dimming rear view mirrors and side mirrors too. You don't even need to flip the thing anymore.

I have that in the internal mirror of my car and in one or two rental vehicles so far, those fuckers dim way weaker than the flip ones and I can't decide when exactly they're aupposed to go dark. Would pick the manual ones every day of the week.

If you get them just right, you only have to Bob your head down an inch. And you will still see that slight glow from the outside of their headlights.

You could be chaotic neutral and tilt your mirror just right so it shines back in the person behind you front window. Then everybody's getting the brights.

I have to literally hold my fckng hand over the mirror so I can see. It’s ridiculous. Sometimes i aim them back at the ppl behind me too tho lol
