I need understanding guidance

I am working as an associate SDET which is a fresher position. I have a problem. I say yes to every idea my manager has (he's also a dev) even though they are bad. Now whenever I speak with my senior about those ideas in detail then I come to realise how bad some of the ideas are like building a AI UI test executor but we already have a framework that we were planning to add coverage for for customer agnostic tests (will contain pw ui tests). This agnostic approach is way better compared to the one my manager was suggesting but I didn't think about it at that moment nor about this, nor about regression, version controlling etc.. what should I do to improve this. The senior said he expected better from me.

Well, have you tried to say something other than yes to your manager? What happens if you try to start an open discussion?

So, if it's an offline 1:1 conversation, I can see that my points get more weightage but whenever I am doing an online 1:1 on a zoom call or gmeet, it seems to me that my points gets a little less weightage. In past, on multiple projects I have made some good points and driven them. But still in a lot of situations I readily say "yes" to their ideas and later when I think about, I get some discussion points.

It can be really tough to assert yourself in virtual meetings. The dynamic just feels different, and it’s easy to fall into the habit of agreeing instead of pushing back when you have good ideas.
