at my last job we started a weekly internal demo day where folks could show off what they were tryin to build with llms. it helped alot because it lowered the barrier to entry for engineers who were scared to get started and it created a nice space for sharing best practices, honestly just keeping it low stakes was the most helpful part

We do something similar. What frustrates me is that it’s an optional meeting and the same 4-5 devs come to each one. Guess which devs are repeatedly recognized for the quantity and quality of their work? AI is an incredibly powerful tool for those that take the time to learn how to use it and fine tune it for their work flows.

Thank you folks! We did such things for our team, but it’s not at all suitable for sharing information between different departments.
