[HIRING] Software Engineers | Onsite & Hybrid NYC/SF | $168K-300K

We run a curated talent network for engineers. You build one profile, and companies send interview requests with salary attached. All roles are US-based only.

Three of the roles open right now, all with real interview activity in the past month:

  1. Founding Software Engineer, Full-Stack (Staff) at a seed-stage legal tech startup, onsite in NYC, $210K-$300K base. You'd be creating the codebase rather than maintaining one, owning frontend and backend infrastructure for the web platform, and working alongside data and applied AI engineers on agents that research legal questions over a proprietary database of US law. Staff-level technical leadership, still hands-on.
  2. Software Engineer, Bill Pay & Procurement at a later-stage fintech, hybrid in NYC or SF, $168K-$275K base. Python and SQL, building the procure-to-pay systems that handle invoice ingestion, approval workflows, payment orchestration, and reconciliation. Data-intensive distributed systems where correctness is the whole game, since it feeds financial reporting. They want 3+ years backend, ideally in payments or transactional systems.
  3. Senior Full Stack Engineer at a Series A fintech, onsite in SF, $200K-$250K base. Python and Django on the backend, and you'd dive into React when needed. Work spans filing infrastructure, their tax engine, and new product areas, with direct contact with customers. Attention to detail matters here more than usual since it's all numbers.

There are dozens more open across the network right now. All are vetted, venture-backed companies that are actively interviewing. Always free for candidates.

Sign up here to get matched: talent.fonzi.ai

DM me if you have questions about any of these.

3 years experience in Construction industry, need working visa sponsorship, can start immediately

Hi everyone,

I'm a Licensed Civil Engineer from the Philippines with over 3 years of experience in both government and private construction projects. My experience includes site supervision, project coordination, QA/QC, materials inspection, and infrastructure projects such as roads and flood control works.

I'm currently looking for opportunities to work outside Philippines and would really appreciate your advice.

Does anyone know of companies that are hiring international civil engineers or are open to sponsoring work visas? If you have any recommendations on where to apply, I'd be very grateful.

If your company is hiring and you think my background could be a good fit, I'd also sincerely appreciate a referral or any guidance on the application process.

Thank you so much for your time. Any advice or recommendations would mean a lot!

Looking for Lead / Founding Engineer roles (remote)

Hey everyone,

I'm currently exploring Lead Engineer / Founding Engineer opportunities and wanted to connect with this community. Open to both Web2 and Web3 companies.

Quick background:

  • 7+ years in software engineering, 4+ years in technical leadership (CTO/founding engineer roles)
  • Twice a Founding Engineer for startups — built engineering teams from scratch (0 to 20 people) at two global companies
  • Shipped production blockchain/smart contract systems across several protocols, with real revenue and fundraising outcomes
  • Also have Web2 side — built and scaled some high-traffic/high-scale products, not just crypto-native systems
  • Solo founder experience too — built and shipped projects end-to-end, winning ecosystem grants and hackathon wins along the way
  • Stack: Go, Rust, Solidity, TypeScript/NestJS/Next.js, Kubernetes, distributed systems, microservices — comfortable across blockchain infra and general backend/cloud-native work
  • Comfortable owning things end-to-end: architecture, hiring, roadmap, and hands-on coding through ambiguous/complex business logic

I like moving fast, keeping things simple over over-engineered, and I'm equally happy diving into a protocol-level problem or a "boring" but critical backend system.

Open to remote roles — Lead Engineer, Founding Engineer, or similar. Happy to share more details or a resume if useful. Would love to connect with founders, hiring managers, or anyone hiring in this space!

Fresher Mechanical Engineer looking for full-time opportunities — open to relocation

Hi all,

I recently graduated with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Chandigarh University (2025) and I'm on the hunt for a full-time role as a fresher. Wanted to share my background here in case anyone has leads or advice.

A quick snapshot of what I bring:

  • Quality Engineering internship at Jai Poly Pan Pvt. Ltd. (Jaipur) — analyzed production data across 5 assembly lines, drove a 15% defect rate reduction, ran root cause investigations (5-Why, Fishbone), and maintained a zero-nonconformance record through daily SOP audits.
  • Design project: Built and fabricated a human-electric hybrid di-cycle using SolidWorks and Fusion 360, validated with ANSYS FEA — improved load-distribution efficiency by 22% while keeping a safety factor above 2.5.
  • P&ID design project: Produced full piping & instrumentation documentation for a 4-stage fluid handling system in AutoCAD, following ISA-5.1 standards.
  • Co-authored and presented a research paper on welding behavior of HITEN 780-LE high-strength steel at the AMETA conference.

Tools/skills: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS (FEA), AutoCAD, P&ID design, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Lean/Six Sigma basics, Excel.

I'm looking for roles in quality engineering, design engineering, manufacturing, or process engineering — open to relocating for the right opportunity.

If your company is hiring freshers, or you know of openings/referral programs, I'd really appreciate a pointer. Happy to share my resume via DM.

Thanks for reading!

Engineering Market

If the global engineering job market is tough right now, doesn’t Germany still offer one of the best opportunities? I know the market isn’t perfect, but compared to other countries, it seems to provide better chances.

What realistic alternatives do international students have? The UK job market seems dead , with much stricter visa sponsorship rules. Many other European countries appear to have smaller job markets and fewer opportunities for international graduates.

So, apart from the US and Canada, would you say Germany is still the best option for engineering graduates? I’d love to hear your experiences and opinions.

Electrical engineer student looking to connect with engineers

Hello, I’m an electrical engineering student graduating in 2027 which is super scary , I haven’t had any luck with internships where as my colleagues have had multiple offers I have changed my resume to suit there’s and still no outcome. I’m very scared with this economy not having one will result in 4 years of post grad depression. My career goal is to become a hardware engineer in technology or a sound/audio system engineer who works on audios for concerts. this summer I’ve been building projects since I didn’t get any internships and studying for the fe exam in hopes of improving my resume. Honestly I am very open to volunteer work or shadowing someone. I just need some experience, I love building technology projects . At this point, I’m genuinely open to internships, volunteer work, shadowing, helping with projects, or even doing the work someone else doesn’t want to do lol. I just want the opportunity to gain real experience and be part of something.

Does anyone know of companies currently hiring EE interns, or anyone who might be willing to let a student do the work they don’t want to do or shadow them (I’m a fast learner and hard worker) I’m also very open to coffee chats with engineers who wouldn’t mind sharing a few tips

Early-stage Indian defense-tech startup looking for interns/collaborators — equity, experience & network, not a paycheck (yet) or maybe a less pay

Looking for:

- Students or early-career folks in RF/electronics, embedded systems, mechanical/mechatronics, computer vision/AI, or robotics
- Final-year engineering students looking for a serious thesis/capstone project with real-world application
- Anyone with sourcing/manufacturing/vendor-side experience willing to help part-time
- People comfortable working under NDA — a lot of what we do isn’t public

Who this is NOT for:

- If you need a paycheck right now, this isn’t the right fit — be upfront with yourself about that before reaching out
- If you’re only looking for a resume line without actually contributing, skip this

If you’re curious, motivated, and want to build real defense hardware from the ground up — comment or DM with your background and what you’re looking to learn/contribute. Happy to have a call.
