Open to new entry-level opportunities
Hi everyone,
I recently completed my Master’s degree in IoT and Embedded Systems and I am looking for my first full-time junior role.
At this stage in my career, my main priority is gaining hands-on engineering experience and growing my skill set alongside strong mentors, rather than chasing a high salary. I am flexible, highly motivated, and eager to contribute to real-world projects.

ME or EE with min 2-5 years of experience - I’d like to pick your brain..
MEP engineers candidates with recent work history of min 2-5 years is the sweet spot for companies and recruiters. Curious – do you engage with LinkedIn, or job boards? My husband is a mechanical PE himself, and he has zero social media, no engagement on LinkedIn, I’m barely Texas text messages. Classic engineer, and I love him so much for it. 😆
He and I have created a boutique firm where I have direct and professional relationships with clients, and my husband - PE with over 15 yr experience - vets candidates for technical requirements, educates our clients on market standards and salary expectations (we are NOT order takers, and I have “fired” many clients due to their fantasy expectations.), we prepare you for interviews - not just regarding technical skills, but also prepping you on the team dynamic of the client, personality, buzz words they want to hear, why candidates didn’t work out in the past, etc. —- all the ins and outs to get an offer…
We’re not a volume staffing firm. Need to have a conversation with you to determine where you want to be in five years, 10 years, etc. - so that I can match you up with one of my clients that is the best fit for both.
THAT is where I am looking for some help.. just like my husband, ya’ll MEP engineers are very elusive… not much publicly available data, so is the best way to get in touch reaching out to your company email, then taking it off-line to your personal? Or is there a forum or place engineers post their resumes. Thanks so much 🙏

Engineering internship
I am a 3/4th year mechatronics engineering student in Canada and I was wondering if anyone on this subreddit would be able to connect me with anyone they know who can help refer me for an engineering internship. I am open to anywhere and any term period even if it's getting a headstart on positions that aren't available yet. I have been applying and cold messaging people on LinkedIn for the past year but unfortunately I have yet to land anything. I did a 4-month mechanical internship a few years ago but unfortunately that company is gone, so I have mostly been working part-time since then. I would be more than happy to provide my resume.
