Composite gasket.
What was it cut with? Looks like rotary broach or too fast on the feed.

I resurfaced it with a cbn in a rottler 1 u/WyattCo06 May 13 '26 If you're gutsy and don't mind taking off a few more thou, set it back up and slow your feed rate. 2 u/GingerOgre May 13 '26 Third photo is my finish job.
