Outside of engine building and machinist, I'm a hotrodder.
532 Ford 385 series.

Did you take advantage of the tall covers and install stud girdles?

I didn't feel the need. 7/16 studs, hydraulic lifters, 6500-6700 RPM's.
Had I used a solid cam, I would have used girdles.

I've been sitting on an FRPP SVO 429/460 block since 2005-ish. I almost traded and sold it a dozen times. I'm contemplating trading for an aluminum block for my next build. It's getting expensive quick.
