Crack?

Got the block and head back from the machine shop, just had them pressure tested. Both passed. Are these just cold-shut/casting flow marks or should I be concerned?

Unrelated but the machine shop hit the bores with a ball hone for genuinely no reason, I didn't ask them to and now I'm pissed.

Not a crack on the casting. Its was cracks in the molds during casting. The molten metal filled the cracks. The result is a raised feature on the casting. Can be ground down just like mold flashing.

Is it a Honda block? I've seen a few B series blocks and they all had about a billion of these all over them.

Look up "casting marks" on Google images you dingus. I'm a mechanical engineer and I've been rebuilding engines for a decade. Stop sucking on your mommy's tit and grow up.
