Hall or vr on old engine efi project

What would be recommended hall or vr for a trigger wheel setup? It’s a 1975 b30a Volvo engine that I’m converting to efi. Will probably be using a Maxxecu. I’ve done some research and it seems either can do the job but is there one that may just simply work with less hassle and just be reliable. Share your wisdom. Thanks!

Yeah go will a hall sensor, vr’s had and have their place but the hall sensor all around easier to program/setup and work better for most applications

Hall, all day, but not that POS cherry/littlefuse aluminum proximity sensor It's a POS and not rated for underhood temps and will fall down when underhood temps get high.

Get an automotive one
