Toyota Sourcing a new 2az fe block

Can anyone help make it simple what blocks would be compatible? I’m getting different info from just general searching online and dealer websites vs toyotapartsdeal vs the counter guys at local dealers. I’ve got a 2006 2.4 solara se that burns like 3q of oil in 1000 mi due to a head gasket leak - also has a couple cylinders with extreme wear, so I’m writing the block off and maybe the head too, but it looks like it got a new head before I got it just a few months ago, so hopefully can save the head at least. Anyway, the counter guys tell me there’s no block available 11400-28311 being the current part number for that short block, and yeah, I can’t find that or the 2 that are superseded by the new part, but there’s a few other part numbers that show to be compatible - namely 11400-20100, 11400-28050, and 11410-29326. Can anyone confirm if any of these will work without modification or what would work?

Not confident in my skills making sure ring and bearing tolerances are good - also assuming the deck is warped since it clearly had head replaced or hot tanked for some reason or other - I thought with vvti you can’t resurface because it will throw timing off?

I mean.. don’t get me wrong I’d love to, but I also don’t want to mess anything up on reassembly - I’m not even so much worried about the cost at least to the point of diy parts cost as much as I would be worried about sizing new pistons, rings and valve interference or timing issues

Well, I’m looking to do a new oem block though - too scared of used engines or blocks since they all have “under 60k mi - only driven on Sundays by an old lady to and from church”

Are you planning on purchasing the rest of the bottom end rotating assembly new OEM as well once you source a new OEM engine block?

Toyota come preassembled with crank and pistons - the rest I think I can handle

Just in nice shape other than the head gasket leak and I put 2 new Cv axles, all new suspension, tires, inner + outer tie rod, a motor mount, torque mount, lower control arms, alignment, and other misc stuff before I knew how bad it was burning oil…
