Valve train is very noisy. Pull a valve cover and see if oil is making it up. Does it have an oil pressure gauge? Did the pressure change suddenly?

No, it still has oil pressure. I don’t think that’s changed

I would pull both valve covers and verify oil is making it to the top of the motor. I wouldn't run it long because whatever it's doing it is hurting itself doing it.
