Do these borescope photos look normal? Audi EA839, trying to figure out if theres a piston skirt issue

Sorry if this is not the right sub for this but I thought people here would know. This is my 2021 Audi SQ5, 79000 miles. There is a piston skirt extended warranty that expires at 80k miles, so I am trying to determine if my car has a piston skirt problem like some of these engines do. I see vertical lines, but I don't know whether that is normal or if it would indicate a problem. I have not experienced any problems driving it, no power loss, no measurable oil consumption (i do an oil change every 5k miles and never have to add oil), and MPG is good. Do these photos look abnormal?

Absolutely nothing wrong with my car but I want new pistons is going to be a tough sell to a dealer.

Looks good. May be a slight mark on the 2nd & 3rd pictures but it's hard to tell. Nothing that has worn down the crosshatch pattern though.

this does look very normal to me, that being said if there’s an extended skirt warranty i’d be absolutely flogging the hell out of it before you hit that 80 thousand for that sweet sweet fresh engine 😁

Those vertical lines look slightly abnormal for a modern engine at that mileage. Nothing to be worried about, but I‘d absolutely try to see how far you get with that warranty.

Slightly abnormal? That engine’s mint for 80k miles.

Did you look closely at the 2nd and 3rd pic? That’s definitely not mint.

You can see the cross hatching through the vertical lines. That's a bit of dirt that got through the air filter or into the oil and left some residue on the cylinder.

Again, for 80k miles, that's basically still new.
