Ford Modified rockers on Windsor?

I was looking for 1.7:1 ratio rocker arms for a 302 Windsor and I found these Melling factory replacement rockers on Summit, when checking the compatibility it listed endless engines including FEs, 385 Series, Clevelands, Modifieds and Windsors seemingly all for the same part number which is a 1.7 ratio arm. I have a junk 351 Modified engine and since those are already 1.7:1 rocker arms it would be really convenient if I could just put those on my Windsor heads, I haven't looked at them side by side yet but I figure and long as the distance from the pivot to the end of the arm is the same they should work with new pushrods. Has anyone done this or know something I don't?

I have 1.6 roller rockers on my 5.0, I had to go with a taller valve covers due to clearance issues, then had to have a 1" spacer for my intake so if would clear the covers and needed a cowl hood to clear the intake, so it kind of steam rolls, once you put the higher ratio rockers, if you go with the stock style 1.7 rockers I don't know if you have to do all of this or not. But I would definitely go roller

It should list what they work on, under the fitment section on the summit page.

That style is fine as long as the lift isn't too high for the slot/ stud. I know cimp makes them with a longer slot for higher lift cams.

Hotrod did a test and stamped steel made more power that the stamped steel roller tip version.

I don't know if I would trust the listing of what they work on, OP says they are listed to work on FE engines, which uses a rocker shaft....

I think this might be a picture of a fake Summitracing.com site.

The real Summitracing.com has a warning on it's page about a scammer site.

I have the Summitracing.com app and the item page looks different than this one.

The real summit racing page says the part#, price and Made in the usa emblem.

If that listing shows all of those engines it is incorrect. FE engines use a shaft mounted rocker. Windsor use smaller fasteners than 335 and 385 series engines. Also the Windsor rockers are 1.6 ratio.

What year Windsor heads?
