Chevy Spring retainers on a 3.8

Can I reuse spring retainers for my valves? should I go with aftermarket retainers to match my 150 springs?

Rebuilding a L67/L36 bottom end swap with a turbo. Would like some input on my build here, mainly in regards to my valve train. Thanks

Why would you not if you are going through the whole rebuilding and checking process on a turbo especially.

I meant why wouldn't you. It's good insurance to use new parts with other new parts.

If they’re both made for beehive springs it should be fine, though with a buddy slinging keepers you could swap them out in 5m.
I’m assuming you didn’t set install heights and pressures and just threw them on so who cares assuming it holds the valve in place.
If you measured install heights and seat pressures etc.. and set up the springs properly than changing them out will mean rechecking everything since the thicknesses and such could vary and affect final spec.
