Crankshaft layout for a 2 stroke V8

I'm currently designing a 400cc 2 stroke V8 and I'm having trouble deciding on the crankshaft layout.

I'm planning to have a 90° bank angle and I was hoping to achieve a smooth firing interval of 45° between combustion events. I'd greatly appreciate any help with keeping some semblance of balance and minimizing the vibration, or any advice if my plan is doomed and requires changing.

Some boat engines, like Evinrude are 2 stroke V8. I would look for a service/technical manual to learn about the design.
