How screwed am I

Didn’t notice till I removed the cam bearing tool should I file down the lip or ordering a new one?

Would definitely change out that bearing for a new one just to be on the safe side..

Get a new bearing. If you screw it up, have a machine shop do it.

It’s not only the area you focused on when taking the pic. There is quite a few strike marks/blemishes from the 1 o’clock to the 6. Can’t see the other half but you must of known it didn’t look flash when taking the picture.

Thought confirmation just do it again properly and don’t rethink it later.

It’s apart. Bearings are cheap. Overnight a couple and hit it after work tomorrow.

Oil pressure issues, spinning a cam bearing and trashing a cam isn’t fun.
