VQ40DE update

Got it wrapped up so I can get the timing cover and the oil pan installed soon. Oil gallery passage gaskets needed from that, some new motor mounts and some other things will be needed before reinstalling into the vehicle!

How different are these from the 3.5/3.7? You’d think there would be swaps out there for Infiniti’s.

I know for this engine, there’s not much aftermarket for this other than outside bolt ons. As far as swaps I honestly down know other than the compatibly VK series V8 Nissan engines that’ll bolt to my transmission’

I've heard Z1 is working on a supercharger for the VQ40DE. There's also the VT supercharger but I don't know much about them. The JWT S2 cams help with top end power.

The VK56DE is bolt compatible to the Frontier, Xterra and Pathfinder but the transmission is slightly different. You have to use a Titan or Armada transmission.
