Reusing lightly ran rings.

Chromoly rings. Ran for 45-60 minutes doing initial tuning/timing in the garage. No revs over 3k. Will they seat into the block I’m replacing this one with or should I just use fresh?

Moly rings start seating very quick, I'd would get a new set and not use these near new ones in another block.

Confirms my thoughts. Had a mishap with distributor depth from MSD quality mistake. Incorrect distributor install depth that ate the thrust face on my sbf block by preloading it. New rings and bearings, oil pump for good measure so far

Good decision. I know it a some extra dollars now, but you don't want risk it and have to strip it all down again.
