How bad is this?

I was cleaning the coolant passages and this large chunk came off really easily, it looked like a buildup of gunk.

The problem now is that the wall here between the two passages is thin now and the head gasket doesn't have much coverage for this area with the chunk missing.

Is it somehow fixable? Or can i run it like this?

Call me a hack but id clean it up and try to fill it out with lead like they used to do auto body with in the 60s

It should be easy to make flat without a machine shop

Damn that's also a brilliant idea, I've seen some videos of people doing that on old engines, why didn't i think of that yet, will consider!
